Immigration / International Students and Employees

Colleges and universities must comply with U.S. immigration law when enrolling international students and scholars, or when employing international faculty. The immigration process, as described in the Immigration and Nationality Act, is complex. Universities, by working with different government agencies, can greatly assist in helping interested students and faculty abroad come to the U.S. to study and work. During this process, colleges and universities must follow visa issuance guidelines, employment restrictions, and other regulations.
